Have you been searching for a delicious, low carb bread substitute you can easily make in your air fryer? Look no further!

This fluffy and delicious recipe only uses a handful of ingredients, and comes together in a snap!

What ingredients do I need to make air fryer buns?

You might be thinking this is a typical fathead dough. Good news, it's not! Although I love fathead (be sure to check out my air fryer fathead rolls), sometimes it can be a bit heavy--and calorically dense--to eat all of that cheese.

Instead, this recipe uses almond flour, greek yogurt, protein powder, baking soda, ground flaxseed, egg,and a little bit of salt.

And to make this tasty low carb bread, all you have to do is mix together the ingredients, pour them into your pan of choice, and stick it in your air fryer!

How do you cook low carb buns in the air fryer?

I've used both 4 inch spring-form pans and ramekins to make these buns. You can experiment with your own oven-safe cookware, but I think the spring-form pan was the clear winner.

With the spring-form pan, everything comes out cleaner and more traditionally bun-like. It's a great air fryer accessory to have anyway and perfect for low carb crustless cheesecake!
