Air Fryer Hot Dogs deliver that juicy and delicious grilled taste in just a fraction of the time! They’re SO fast, this will easily become your new favorite cooking method!
Hot dogs are perfect for every occasion, from backyard barbecues to summertime birthday parties. Of course they’re delicious and quick to make, but I believe the air fryer makes them even better!
Whether you’re cooking up regular links or opting for thick bratwursts, cooking your hot dogs in the air fryer is the simplest method for achieving that juicy and delicious grilled taste without firing up the grill!
Say goodbye to boiled hot dogs and microwaved hot dogs…the air fryer hot dog is here to stay!
Are hot dogs a good low carb option?
Hot dogs are very low carb. Averaging just about 2 grams of carbohydrates per hot dog, you could eat plenty of them and still stick to your healthy eating goals.
Some people who follow the keto diet avoid hot dogs because of their processing and “unclean” ingredients. To this I say, to each their own…if you want a hot dog, it won’t derail your efforts. Just skip the bun!

One more note about ingredients: I always say, the less ingredients the better. Some of the really low quality hot dogs you’ll find in the grocery store are made up of chicken, pork and beef, all in the same link! No judgement if that’s your preferred kind, I just like to stick to all-beef!
How do you cook hot dogs in the air fryer?
It really takes only a few minutes! You just plop them into your air fryer basket and make sure they’re separated enough so that the convection air can flow all around them evenly.
Then you set the time and temperature, and forget about them…well, there won’t be much time to forget about them because they cook up SO fast!
- 4 Hot Dogs
- Toppings of your choice
- Place uncooked hot dogs into air fryer basket.
- Set the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and the timer to 7 minutes.
- Once the timer goes off, remove hot dogs and allow to cool before topping and enjoying!
