Why would I make air fryer hard boiled eggs?

I also really love the set it and forget it relief that the air fryer offers. This method really is as simple as putting the eggs in the air fryer basket (I took them straight out of the refrigerator and didn't let them warm up to room temperature) and setting the time and temperature.
The results truly amazed me. The eggs came out perfectly and peeled from their shells SO easily. The secret to perfect peeling is submerging the hot eggs in an ice bath right after you take them out. An ice bath is just a bowl of ice water.
This cools the eggs quickly and stops the eggs from continuing to cook. The ice bath also causes the egg to pull away from the shell. That's why it's so easy to peel the shell away.
Also, quick note: it's perfectly normal for your hard boiled eggs to come out with brown spots on them. If your air fryer isn't completely clean, little particles will fly around and stick to your eggs. The ice bath will wash the spots right off, and your eggs will be completely unaffected.

Don't they look perfect? And if you're tired of regular salt and pepper seasoning, I'd highly recommend Everything Bagel Seasoning! Give it a try!
