This air fryer focaccia bread will become your new favorite bread recipe. It's so easy to make and you can use it for anything from an appetizer to a side, to even slicing it up to make sandwiches. Trust me, I've done all three! Only 6 ingredients are all that stand between you and this delicious homemade air fryer bread.

Ingredients
Lukewarm Water - This is for helping the yeast proof. You'll want to make sure it's about 100°F to activate, but not kill the yeast.
Sugar - This isn't a sweet bread, but in order for the yeast to activate, yeast needs to eat sugar.
Active Dry Yeast - This yeast works fast, and gives you the rise you're looking for!
Bread Flour - Bread flour has a higher protein content than all-purpose flour. You can swap out all-purpose flour, but you'll likely get a wetter batter and need to add more to this recipe.
Salt - This will bring out the flavor of the dough.
Olive oil - This is for drizzling, but also for lightly oiling the bowl that the bread dough will rise in.

Instructions
1. In a large bowl, stir the water and sugar together. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and gently stir into the water. Let sit for 10 minutes until the yeast is foamy.
2. Place the bread flour and salt into a large bowl and add the yeast mixture and oil. Use a rubber spatula and stir until well combined.
3. Spritz a clean bowl with cooking spray and place the dough into the bowl to let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees. On a lightly floured work surface, separate the dough into two even halves. Shape into 8-inch by 6-inch rectangles, about 1/2-inch thickness. Press your fingers into the dough to create the classic looking focaccia dimples.
5. Place a loaf of dough into the air fryer basket and bake for 10 minutes, flipping over after 6 minutes.
When done, the loaf will be golden brown and firm.

Can you make this easy air fryer bread in the oven?
Absolutely! Make the recipe exactly the same, but place the focaccia loaves on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake them in the oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
What do you serve with focaccia?
You really could eat this delicious air fryer bread with anything! Eat it on the side of my air fryer chicken breast or use it to make a baked french toast!
Storage
I doubt you'll have any air fryer focaccia leftover (it's so delicious!), but in the rare event that you do...you can store it, covered on your countertop for up to 3 days. But as with all bread, the fresher the better.
