This Keto Chicken Sandwich is one of the best ways to turn your low carb fried chicken into a meal. Try it out to satisfy your fast food ...
This Air Fryer Copycat Chipotle Burrito Bowl is an easy and delicious alternative to fast food that comes together in just about 30 minutes!
It’d be pretty difficult to find someone who doesn’t absolutely love Chipotle. The food is delicious, fresh, and very good for you!
If you’re following a low carb or keto diet, Chipotle can be a great option, but it’s unlikely that you’ll want to eat out all the time. Or even if you want to, your bank account probably wouldn’t support your decisions! 😉
This recipe is about as close as it gets (if I do say so myself) to a delicious Chipotle Burrito Bowl right in your own kitchen, and the air fryer makes the chicken come out absolutely perfect.
Another great reason to make this dish at home is the knowledge of exactly what goes into it, and how much. If you’re doing keto for weight loss, it’s important to track your calories and macronutrients to stay on target. Though it’s not impossible, careful tracking can be more difficult when eating out.
The easy secret ingredient to achieving a copycat Chipotle meal is Chipotle Adobo sauce, also known as Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce. It comes in a small, 7-ounce can, and is easily found at any grocery store.
How do I make Chipotle Chicken in my Air Fryer?
It couldn’t be easier. You just marinate the chicken in the Chipotle Adobo sauce and place it in your air fryer.
You’ll want to go for chicken thighs because they’re loaded with flavor. If you’re following a low carb, high fat diet like keto, the fatty thighs will also help you hit your macros and keep you full.
The only ingredients you’ll need to make a Copycat Chipotle Burrito Bowl just like mine are:
Chipotle Adobo Sauce
Chopped Romaine Lettuce
Shredded Monterry Jack Cheese
Pico de Gallo
And from that point, if you’re not low carb you can add your beans and rice, but as is, this is a great low carb option.
